Grace O. (Samuels) Browning

Grace O. Browning, 91, of Stoystown, died January 11, 2026 at home. Born September 2, 1934 in Utahville, daughter of Thomas and Mabel (Lewis) Samuels. Preceded in death by parents, husband Ralph, son Donald, daughter-in-law Gina, brothers: Bud, Cy, James, Edward, Donald, Robert, William and John Samuels; and sisters: Margaret Lender, Mary Nevling, Martha Love, Dorothy Simmers, and Winifred Galliher. Survived by sons John and Edward (Karen) Browning; grandchildren: Tabitha (Shawn) Detlefsen, Angela (Daniel) Corrigan, Jacob (Tiffany), Kristina, and Elizabeth Browning; great grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Jayden, Trevor, Jack, Gina, Jason, Sophie, and Skylar; sister Jane McKeehen; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1952 graduate of BCI High School. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church and Shanksville Fire Co. Auxiliary. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 11, at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Pastor Madianne Vincent officiating.
