Harry A. “Skinny” Caton, 90 years old of Edgewood, NM, formerly Berlin, passed away peacefully Friday, January 22, 2021 at University of New Mexico Hospital with his daughter Patricia at his side. Harry was born September 11, 1930 son of Harry William and Edna (Burkett) Caton. September 18, 1949, Harry married Harriett Showers from Tannersville, NY in Saugerties, NY. He is survived by a brother Robert V. Caton of Meyersdale, a daughter Patricia and spouse Ronald Kane, of Pueblo West, CO, a son Harry Dan Caton of Edgewood, NM, and a daughter Sherri and spouse Robert Fluke of State College, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Harry retired after 40 years with Western Union Telegraph from 1947 to 1987. He built five houses, and helped Pat and Dan build their homes. Harry was an Endowment member of the NRA. He was a member of the Delaware-Hudson Rifle League High Aggregate Expert Class which yielded him 2nd place in 1964. He hunted extensively with family and friends in PA, NY, MT, WY, CO, and NM which yielded him many trophies. Harry will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
