Harry James Mitchell

Harry James Mitchell, 88, formerly of Friedens, died October 7, 2023 at The Patriot. Born November 7, 1934 in Johnstown, son of Charles Arthur and Elizabeth Margaret (Webb) Mitchell. Preceded in death by parents, brother Kenneth, sisters: Katherine Shumaker, Lavina Will, and Delorse Blough, and special niece Tina Hersh. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including his special niece Pam Kister. He worked at numerous farms and sawmills throughout his life. Harry enjoyed watching the Pirates, court shows, working outdoors, and spending time with his great great nephew Layne.
