Hubert L. "Tip" Weyant

Hubert L. “Tip” Weyant, 94, of Stoystown (Indian Lake), died March 9, 2023 at Rebecca’s Personal Care Home, Everett. Born March 7, 1929 in Osterburg, son of Harmon and Alma (Snyder) Weyant. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Mildred I. Williams, brothers: Howard, Ross, and Clair, and sisters Hazel Gindlesperger, Lois Miller, and Olive Gooden. Survived by brothers: Norman married to the former Judy Onstead, Friedens, and Ernest married to the former Loretta Young, Berlin. He was a 1948 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and a Korean War Army Veteran serving as a medic. Tip retired from Pace Pipeline Company, Greensburg. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. Interment Fishertown Cemetery.
