Irene Janell Horning

Irene Janell Horning, 81, of Berlin, died May 25, 2024 at UPMC Altoona. Born August 25, 1942 in Greensburg, daughter of Harvey and Dorthy (Vought) Gray. Preceded in death by parents, husband Ronald L., brothers Wayne, Bruce, and Earl Gray, and sister Carmelita Jones. Survived by children: Mandy married to Robb Vetter, Altoona, and Bret married to the former Traci Paxton, Berlin; grandsons: Wyatt (Chelsea) and Warren Horning; great grandson Nico Lee Horning; sister Vera Cassa and friend Ed Hudak; and sisters-in-law: Annette Rowley and Jean Gray. She was a 1960 graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School. Former employee of Jeannette Glass Co., and retired from Wheeler Bros., Inc. Member of Berlin Alliance Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, AWANA Teacher, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed reading her bible, watching westerns, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Berlin Alliance Church. Rev.
