Isabell Florence (Stutzman) Eschrich

Isabell Florence Eschrich, 90, Stoystown (Kantner), died May 28, 2025 at The Patriot. Born May 9, 1935 in Johnstown, daughter of Henry and Florence (Shaffer) Stutzman. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert W., and brother-in-law James Glessner. Survived by her children: Cindy married to Terry Walters, Cairnbrook, and William married to Kenneth McDonald, York; grandchildren: Chad Walters, Trent Walters (Collin Robertson) and John (Michelle) and Andrew Eschrich; and sister Virginia Glessner. She was a 1953 graduate of Forbes High School and was retired from the Somerset County Treasurer’s Office. Member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Stoystown, Stoyestown Area Historical Society, and Trinity Chapter 138 O.E.S., Somerset, where she was a former Worthy Matron. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, creating quilts, and laughing with family. Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s U.C.C., Stoystown. Rev. Sharon Fox officiating. Private interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
