Jack Wayne Miller

Jack Wayne Miller, 94, Somerset, formerly of Stoystown, died October 31, 2025 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born May 12, 1931 in Allenvale, son of Ray and Nettie (Barndt) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister, daughter-in-law Anna Miller, 4 sisters-in-law, and 2 brothers-in-law. Survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Evelyn Adams; sons: Ronald (Pat), Alan (Jackie), and John Miller; step sons: Richard (Barb), Randy (Wendi), and Robert (Pam) Keyser; other children: Jeff, Randy, Bob, and Deb; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sisters Wiladean Shoemaker and Ruth (Jack) O’Baker; and brother Donald (Dorothy) Miller. He was a retired coal miner. Member of Mostoller Global Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, woodworking, and watching sports on TV. The family would like to give a special thank you to Joy, Dani, and Kristie from Heartland Hospice for their excellent care of Jack. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
