James C. Gindlesperger

James C. Gindlesperger, 91, Berlin, died March 21, 2019 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born March 3, 1928 in Meyersdale, son of Homer and Margaret (Stull) Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 34 years, the former Marian Engle, and infant daughter Barbara. Survived by daughter Mary Kraus, Cranberry, son Mark (Lori) Gindlesperger, Berlin, grandchildren: Zoë, Andrew (Melissa), and Scott, and great grandson Kylan. He was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and a Korean War Army veteran. He was a retired pottery worker for Crane Co. in Somerset. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Nila Cogan officiating. Interment Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
