James E. Leazier

James E. Leazier, 84, Friedens, died Nov. 3, 2020 at Somerset In Touch Hospice House. Born Aug. 17, 1936 in Friedens, son of Homer and Alice (Stern) Leazier. Preceded in death by parents, sister Joann Snyder, brother Homer Ray Leazier, son-in-law Michael Polakoski, and grandson Patrick Polakoski. Survived by his wife of 62 years the former Phyllis Little; children: Gale married to Eric Wagner, Amy Polakoski, Scott married to the former MaryAnn Henry, Sandy married to Kevin D. Landis, and William Mostoller; grandchildren: Joe (Sarah) and Lucas (Leah) Walker, Bernard (Kim), Kristina, and Katherine Polakoski, Braiden and Brock (Samantha) Leazier, Kylie and Savannah Landis, and Josephina Mostoller; great grandchildren: Oliver and Hudson; and brother John (Jackie) Leazier. He was a 1955 graduate of Forbes High School and a retired contractor and farmer. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church. No viewing or visitation. There will be a private service for immediate family only. Rev. John Barichivich officiating. Interment Friedens Lutheran Cemetery.
