James Anthony Yock

James Anthony Yock, 55, of Windber, died Aug. 17, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Feb. 20, 1969 in Johnstown, son of Gerald and Judy (Jerz) Yock, of Cairnbrook. Survived by wife of 24 years the former Andrée “Twirpy” Kauffman; son Cody Yock; brothers: John (Christa) and Jeff (Erma) Yock; mother-in-law Cynthia (Michael Mattison) Kauffman; father-in-law Terry Kauffman; brother-in-law Terrence Kauffman; and sister-in-law Beth Ann Kauffman. He was a 1987 graduate of Shade High School and a graduate of Edinboro University, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. Jim was an employee of Cambria Residential Services. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.
