Jane A. (Shaulis) Snyder

Jane A. Snyder, 90, of Sidman, formerly of Stoystown, died April 16, 2026 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born February 8, 1936 in Stoystown, daughter of Ira and Ursula (Naugle) Shaulis. Preceded in death by parents, husband William, four brothers, and three sisters. Survived by her children: Ray (Shirley) Menhorn, Allen Menhorn, and Carol Smeltzer; step children: Thea Snyder, Noel Strattan, and William Snyder; and grandchildren Derek Menhorn and Jennifer Smeltzer. She was a graduate of the former Forbes High School. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. She enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, reading, and refinishing antique furniture. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 25, 2026 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. Rev. Kathy Stump officiating. Interment Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
