Jason Matthew Troutman

Jason Matthew Troutman, 36, of Somerset, died January 15, 2026 at UPMC Somerset. Born August 21, 1989 in Somerset, son of Vernon and Debby (Gross) Troutman. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Charles and Doris Troutman, and maternal grandparents: Louis Gross and Shirley Stiffey. Survived by his parents; sisters: Holly (Floyd) Rousell and Jenny (Jeremy) Portash; special niece Lizzy, who he called his “Little Squirt”; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a 2008 graduate of Somerset High School and attended Penn Highlands Community College. Member of Unity United Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching the Tennessee Titans, NASCAR, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also enjoyed playing video games on his Xbox. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday January 24, 2026 at Unity United Church of Christ. Rev. David Creamer officiating.
