Jeffrey Wayne Pyle

Jeffrey Wayne Pyle, 67, Friedens, went to be with the Lord May 27, 2025 at UPMC Shadyside. Born November 14, 1957 in Somerset, son of H. James and Shirley Jane (Bauman) Pyle. Preceded in death by parents and infant brother Rodney. Survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Amy McClintock; son Adam married to Dan Barket; daughter Julie married to Jeremy Fleming; grandchildren: McKenna and Liam Fleming; brother Douglas (Cathy) Pyle; sister-in-law Kathy (Charlie) Krall; and nieces Serena Uglow, Kelly (Mark) Bowman, Kerri (Brian) Penrose, and Casey Krall (Paul Buchholz). He was a 1975 graduate of North Star (Forbes Campus) High School and received his B.S. in Business/Marketing from U.P.J. in 1979. He was a semi-retired business management consultant and was active in multiple local churches. Member of Altoona Johnstown Tres Dias, founder of Roof Garden Ministries, and was active in multiple Christian organizations in the US, Brazil, and Malawi. Member of Somerset County Old Timers Baseball and was inducted into their Hall of Fame, Indian Lake Monday Night Golf League, and Stoyestown Area Historical Society. He loved spending time camping and with family and friends. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran Church. Pastor Brent Williams and family friends officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
