Joan Y. “Bubba” Hoffman, 76, Berlin, died Jan. 26, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Nov. 24, 1942 in Meyersdale, daughter of Albert and Victoria (Donitzen) Hutchinson. Preceded in death by parents, husband Harold R. Hoffman Sr., sons Harold Jr. and Anthony, daughter Theresa Hoffman Weigle, infant twins, and brothers: Wilbur “Bud”, Francis “Mick”, and William Hutchinson. Survived by children: Vickie Hoffman, Berlin, and Scott Hoffman and wife Jaymie, Bel Air, MD; grandchildren: Joshua, Jessica, Brandon, Tyler, Nicholas, Jennifer, Andre, Zachary, Ryan, Samuel, Preston, and Erika; 12 great grandchildren; brother Kenneth (Judy) Hutchinson, Shanksville; and faithful companion Riley. Member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church. She was known for her baking, being “Bubba” to all, her faithfulness, and her loving and accepting heart. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Macdonaldton. Rev.
