Joann W. Horner, 85, of Ligonier, formerly of Berlin, died June 22, 2022 at Bethlen Home, Ligonier. Born Sept. 16, 1936 in Shanksville, daughter of Harvey and Twyla (Miller) Wagner. Preceded in death by parents, husband Richard E. “Rick” Horner, and grandchildren: Tyler Horner, Gabrielle Fuson, and Hayley Smith. Survived by children: Tammy married to Harvey Sarver, Boswell, Clifford, Berlin, Christine married to John Smith, Greensburg, and Melissa married to Michael Fuson, Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Larissa (Philip) James, Laurelle (Felix) Ocasio, Joshua (Heidi) Sarver, Jordyn (Jeremy) Shaulis, Michele (Travis) Young, Lindsey Smith, Erik (Alexis) Fuson, and Allison and Ethan Fuson; great grandchildren: Isaac, Malachi, and Hannah James, Isaiah and Olivia Ocasio, and Abigail, Braden, and Cierra Sarver; and sister Kathryn (Ronald) Horner. She was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and retired from Snyder of Berlin. Former member of Berlin American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the hummingbirds, and baking cakes. A private graveside service will be held at Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
