John K. Mostoller, 84, Friedens, died June 1, 2026 at The Patriot. Born October 14, 1941 in Somerset, son of John H. and Dorothy (Connor) Mostoller. Preceded in death by parents and his wife, the former Wilma Sechler. Survived by his children: John H. (Purusha), Christine (Michael) Scribner, and Vince (Nikki); grandchildren: Bryce “Pud” (Tate) Henry, Mackenzie “M.J.” Mostoller, Max (Lisa) Scribner, Samantha (Eric) Voshall, Courtney (Damien) Seals, and Connor Mostoller; great grandchildren: Raegan, Mason, Alexander, Aiden, Ava, Oscar, Tuesday, Palmer, Paisley, and Lachlan; and sisters: Jean Roberge and Betsy Vittori. He was a graduate of Somerset High School. John was a lineman for Penelec before working for and retiring from Vanyo Supply. He then finished his working career side by side with his wife Wilma as co-owner of 7 Springs Gift Shop and Treasure Haus Jewelry. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church and the Somerset Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, going to casinos, fishing in Canada, and spending time at the Summit Diner with friends. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev. John Barichivich officiating. Private interment at Listie Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Friedens Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 131 S. Main St., Friedens, PA 15541.
