John Lake Obituary

John David Lake, 69, Somerset, died Feb. 11, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Sept. 22, 1951 in Somerset, son of Albert and Ruth (Rettig) Lake. Preceded in death by parents, son Brandon Lake, brothers: James, Daniel, and Edward Lake, and sister Dorothy Coward. Survived by wife of 33 years the former Marian Kaye Robb; son Ian Lake; grandchildren: Mackenzie and Kallista; sisters: Ruth Lamantia and Sandra Benning; and brother Ernest (Pam) Lake. He was a graduate of Forbes High School, retired Steel Worker, and currently worked as a radio dispatcher for PennDOT. He enjoyed watching baseball and Star Trek, swimming, and spending time with his family. There will be no viewing or service at John’s request. Arrangements entrusted to Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
