John C. “Jack” McClatchey, 81, Indian Lake, passed away peacefully April 28, 2019. Born July 24, 1937 in Pittsburgh, son of Ralph and Leah (Snyder) McClatchey. Preceded in death by his parents and an infant son. Survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Valencia Bobincheck; children: LeeAnn Smith, VA, Jay (Nitsa) McClatchey, Indian Lake, and Susan McClatchey, CA; step children: Heath (Melissa) Ferry, New Kensington, and Lori (Frank) Zevorich, Johnstown; grandchildren: John (Amanda), Maria, Brooke, Liam, and Mollie; sister Barbara (Harold) Duppre, Treasure lake; and best friend Dillon. He was a 1955 graduate of Linsly Military Institute and was the former owner/operator of JCM Industries, Buckstown, and Laurel Supply, Ligonier. He was a bank director at Commercial National Bank, Ligonier. He was a lifelong hunter who enjoyed competitive shooting and was an avid water skier. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held Sat. May 25th from 1 to 4 p.m. at Jack’s home, 107 Osage Path, Stoystown, PA 15563. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963.
