John W. Mostoller

John W. Mostoller, 89, of Davidsville, formerly of Friedens, died Aug. 1, 2025 at Laurel View Village. Born March 18, 1936 in Somerset, son of Herman and Marie (Miller) Mostoller. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Emma Jean Kline, and step son Gerald Barron. Survived by children: Amy (John) Carrig, Bethlehem, and Mark (Ellen) Mostoller, Jennerstown; grandchildren: Kelly (Michael) Barbera, Ryan and Allison Carrig, and Alexandra and Matthew Mostoller; great grandchildren: Michael and Carmela Barbera; brother Charles Mostoller; and sister Esther Weigle. He was a 1954 graduate of Somerset High School, attended Penn State University, and served in the PA Army National Guard Co. C. John was a retired dairy route salesman from Agway, Somerset, after 35 years. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and a former member of the Stoystown Lions Club. He enjoyed spending time at the Yough Dam with his family, and ice cream with his grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev. John Barichivich officiating.
