John Philip, Jr., 69, Garrett, died February 13, 2024 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born August 18, 1954 in Somerset, son of the late John Sr. and Blanche (Berkley) Philip. Survived by brothers and sisters: Samuel (Connie) Philip, Jocelyn (Gary) Shaffer, Nancy (Robert) Platt, Douglas (Brenda) Philip, and Larry (Rebecca) Philip; 10 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews. He was a 1972 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. John worked as an engineering designer at Somerset Engineering. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a licensed pilot. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rev. Jim Kunes officiating. Interment Philip Family Cemetery.
