Joshua William Benning

Joshua William Benning, 32, Meyersdale, died Sept. 25, 2019 at UPMC Somerset following a long illness. Born Sept. 16, 1987 in Meyersdale, son of Glenn R. and Bonnie (Benning) Dwire of Boswell. Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Alma Jean Benning. Survived by parents; wife, the former Regina Lyons; children: Joshua, Jr., Brooke, and Riley; brother Dylan R. Dwire; maternal grandfather Kenneth R. Benning; paternal grandparents Ron and Maryann Dwire; father and  mother-in-law James and Zina Lyons; grandmother-in-law Joyce Bowser; and sisters-in-law: Stephanie (Eric) Knopsnyder, Katie (Travis) Miller, and Shelby (Barry) Friedline. He was a 2006 graduate of Somerset High School. He enjoyed farming and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Sam Coughenour officiating. Interment Mt.
