Joshua Brendan Datko

Joshua Brendan Datko, 35, Stoystown, died November 9, 2024. Born September 17, 1989 in Bedford, son of Chad Datko and Kelly (Harr) Jones. Preceded in death by uncle Brian Lambert. Survived by loving family members: father; mother and stepfather Jack Jones; brother Bradley Datko; sisters: Amber Datko and Amanda Jones; grandparents: Thomas and Grace Kaminsky and John and Dana Datko; aunts and uncles: Apryl and Robert Knecht, Melanie Lambert and fiancé Andrew Smith, and Michael and Brita Ryan; niece and nephew: Anthony Neiderheiser and Meadow Lena Pischeda; cousins: Shannon and Dillon  Ryan, Autumn (Mitch) Miesko, Nicholas (Kaylee Barkley) Knecht, Aleiah and Briley Lambert, and Rylan Smith; and second cousin Aloniah Miesko. He was a 2008 graduate of North Star High School and worked at several local coal mines. He had an outmatched passion for anything that has an engine and wheels. He could be found at the races on the weekends working on the race car. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and anything that has to do with nature. Josh enjoyed all family events, birthdays, holidays, and playing Uno. He had the most beautiful blue eyes and a contagious smile. He was always willing to help anybody, no questions asked. Josh enjoyed his time with others and often spoke of the memories he made and cherished. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be given to Deaner Funeral Home, P.O.
