Joyce E. Nedrow, 72, Boswell, died July 4, 2026 at The Patriot. Born March 8, 1954 in Meyersdale, daughter of the late Stanley and Martha (Nider) Nedrow. Survived by her children; Jeremy (Natasha) Zorn, Zachary Maust, and Rachael Maust; grandchildren: Maddox and Alexandra Zorn, Richard Beal, Jr., and Anthony Maust; sisters: Donna (Jim) Hendershot, Laura Nedrow, and Janice Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and former husband David Maust. She attended Berlin Brothersvalley High School, graduated LPN School, and was a U.S. Army veteran where she was an expert marksman. She attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Joyce enjoyed gardening, cooking, being in the outdoors, and spending time with her family. Her most enjoyable pastime by far was cooking. She would host the family for the Russian Orthodox Christmas celebration. It was very important for the Nedrow sisters to keep their family heritage. They would make the 12 dishes for the 12 Disciples, including honey and garlic to represent the bitterness and sweetness of life, Paska bread in the oven, and she would place straw underneath the kitchen table. Joyce helped to make family memories that will last a lifetime. There will be no public viewing or service. Private family services will be held at a later date. Contributions may be given to the Berlin Veterans Home, 419 Meadow St., Berlin, PA 15530. Arrangements entrusted to Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. DeanerFuneralsAndCremations.com
