June Christine Ackerman

June Christine Ackerman, 63, Berlin, died January 24, 2023 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born November 1, 1959 in Meyersdale, daughter of Glenn W. Ackerman and Hazel (Brick) Ackerman Hillegas. Preceded in death by father and brother Glenn Lee Ackerman. Survived by her mother; sister Paula Cook; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver Ruby Brennan; and special friends at Meadow View, Shelly Lytle and Wilma Fochtman. She attended different churches. She enjoyed dancing, parties, riding her bicycle, and going to the Somerset County Workshop. She loved to sing hymns with Elvis, “How Great Thou Art” and “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”. There will be no viewing or service. Inurnment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
