June (Shoup) Bock

June Bock, 94, Hooversville, died Nov. 25, 2021 at The Lutheran Home, Johnstown. Born June 20, 1927 in Robinson Twp., daughter of Lawrence O. and Agnes (Strang) Shoup. Preceded in death by parents and husband Richard “Dick” Bock. Survived by children: J. Kathryn “Kay” Bock, Larry (Diana Lyn) Bock, and David (Shelly) Bock; grandchildren: Anne Bock and wife Jennifer King, and Laura and husband Jacob Barker; and great grandchildren: Marin and Logan Bock, and Elle Barker. She received her B.S. degree from Penn State University. She was retired from PA Dept. of Public Assistance and was a former teacher at Forbes High School. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, Hooversville Historical Society, and the Red Hats. She enjoyed traveling, watching Penn State Football, and spending time with family and friends. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Rev. John Barichivich officiating. Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery.
