Kathleen B. (Barney) Lowrie

Kathleen B. Lowrie, 92, Stoystown, formerly of Greensburg, died October 22, 2022 at UPMC Somerset. Born Sept. 7, 1930 in Greensburg, daughter of Irwin and Edith (Himmelwright) Barney. Preceded in death by parents, husband Glen Lowrie, daughter Carla McElroy, sister Ruth Jean Seminary, and brother William Barney. Survived by children Kathy Gross, Indian Lake, and Scott (Janna) Gross, Johnstown; grandchildren: James (Dan) McLure-Neff and Jake McElroy; and son-in-law Johnny McElroy. She was a graduate of Greensburg High School and was retired from Cable Vision. Member of Way of Hope Christian Fellowship, Hollsopple and former member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Greensburg. She was a Christian woman all her life.
