Kathy E. (Herwig) Yoder

Kathy E. Yoder, 68, Friedens, died June 8, 2025 at home. Born February 10, 1957 in Somerset, daughter of Lloyd and Joyce (Koontz) Herwig. Preceded in death by her parents and first husband David Riley. Survived by her husband of 30 years, Ronald J.; brother Joe (Amy) Herwig; father and mother-in-law Robert and Janice Yoder; sister-in-law Linda (Mark) Coutts; and her three favorite nieces Carissa (Jeremy) Duttry, Megan (Seth) Burkert, and Katie (Chad) LaVan. She was a 1975 graduate of Somerset High School and received her Associates Degree for Registered Nursing from ACM. Kathy was a retired nurse from Somerset Hospital. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev. John Barichivich officiating. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery, Jerome. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Friedens Lutheran Church, 131 S. Main St., Friedens, PA 15541.
