Kaylyn Marie Deem

Kaylyn Marie Deem, 11, Garrett, died July 4, 2020 in Brothersvalley Twp. Born May 28, 2009 in Somerset, daughter of Fred and Tesa (Aurndt) Deem of Garrett. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents Fred Sr. and Elide Maria Deem, great grandparents Charles Aurndt and Paul and Ruth Dermer, and best friend Laramee Ickes. Survived by parents, grandparents Bill and Sandy Aurndt, special aunts and uncles Trisha and Greg Kaylor, Jay and Joy Deem, Randy Deem, and Janice and Bunk Harding, great grandmother Freda Aurndt, and numerous other family and friends. She was a 6th grade student at Berlin Brothersvalley Schools where she participated in chorus and band. Member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren and Studio 7 School of Dance. She enjoyed playing with her new puppy Delta, spending time with family, singing in church, and hunting with her dad. She had a kind heart and a love for Jesus. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Per State Mandate and family request, masks are required. A private service will be held for immediate family only. The service will be live streamed at 10 a.m. Wednesday on the Deaner Funeral Home Facebook page. Rev.
