Kenneth Ray Werner, 90, Annandale, VA, formerly of Glencoe, died Sept. 17, 2020 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Born Oct. 19, 1929 in Glencoe, son of Jubal and Sarah Adaline (Cook) Werner. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Elaine Ludy, sisters Ruth Martz and Mildred Werner, and brother Earl Werner. Survived by children: Karen Werner Chonko, Kevin Werner and wife Debbie, and Ruth Werner and husband Dale Nace; sister-in-law Shirley Ludy; and brother-in-law Howard Nicholson. He attended Bauman one room schoolhouse and graduated from Berlin Brothersvalley High School. He was a Korean War Army veteran, and was a retired electronics test engineer for the CIA. He attended Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, VA. He enjoyed helping people in need. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Per state mandate, masks and social distancing are required. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe. Rev. Kyle Holcomb officiating.
