Kerry L. Bodes

Kerry L. Bodes, 72, Garrett, died August 20, 2025 at UPMC Altoona. Born December 3, 1952 in Meyersdale, son of William H. and Betty M. (Baker) Bodes. Preceded in death by parents, grandson James Bodes, and brother-in-law R. Timothy Fritz. Survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Shirley Heckler; son Andrew (Nikki) Bodes; daughter Kelsey (Nicholas) Forrest; granddaughters Taylor and Elizabeth Bodes; sisters Judy Fritz and Sue (Guy) Imhoff; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Meyersdale High School and was formerly employed at Fleetwood Manufacturing. Former member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett, and the Roof Garden Chorus.
