Larry Gene “Butch” McKenzie, 76, of Berlin, died Aug. 29, 2019. Born March 30, 1943 in Berlin, son of Lee V. and Virginia (Flickinger) McKenzie. Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Lee, Robert, William, Aaron, Donald, and Glenn; sisters-in-law: Liz, Althea, Ruby, and Rebecca; brothers-in-law: Bruce Stewart and George Hoffman; and nephews: Robert James Jr., and Larry Engbert. Survived by brother Richard (Georgene) McKenzie, Cumberland, MD; sisters: Patricia Hoffman, Berlin, Judi (Tom) Van Horn, Satellite Beach, FL; and Linda (Sam) Fochtman, Berlin; sisters-in-law: Ina McKenzie, Painesville, OH, and Veronica McKenzie, Waverly, IA; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; special friends: Roger and Ann Weyant; and faithful companion Queenie. Member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Macdonaldton. He enjoyed roller skating, playing pool, and loved watching wrestling and westerns on television.
