Leanora Catharine "Nora" (Chinchillo) Virtue

Leanora Catharine “Nora” Virtue, 93, of Fairhope, died March 29, 2022 at home. Born Dec. 3, 1928 in Blue Anchor, NJ, daughter of Edward and Lena (DelRoso) Chinchillo. Preceded in death by parents, husband Harold Kenneth Virtue, son Edward William Virtue, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by children: Lorraine married to Lee Woida, Fairhope, and Kenneth H. and wife Adele, Colville, WA; eight grandsons: Matthew (Christine), Ed (Sara), Tim (Laura) and Scott (Beth) Woida, Kenny and John Virtue, James and Chris Casad; seven great grandchildren: Becca, Emily, Cooper, Clare, Kaylee, Liam and Maryn Woida; and sisters: Anna Ross and Jenny Wassmer. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, and Knotty Knotters and Quilters, and a former member of the Red Hat Society. She liked to crochet and sew, work in her garden, read and go for lunch.
