Leonard Ray Miller

Leonard R. Miller, 78, of Friedens, died Feb. 6, 2023 at home. Born April 14, 1944 in Davidsville, son of Freeman and Wiltrude (Jones) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Janet Reckner, and brother Wayne Miller. Survived by daughter Brenda (Donald) Weigle, Farrel; son Keith (Tammy) Miller, Stoystown; granddaughters: Necole (Donald) Gaudette and Tiffany (Tyler) Frampton; and brother of: Myrtle Eby, Hilda Miller, Joyce (Richard) Pristas, Clarence Miller, Mark (Martha) Miller, and Retha (Dale) Thomas. He was a 1962 graduate of Johnstown Christian School. Retired milk tester and worked for various area farmers. Leonard was also a salesman for Renaissance Livestock Nutrition. He attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and was a member of Blough Mennonite Church. He enjoyed gardening and Bar-B-Q’s. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Pleasant Hill U.M. Church. Memorial contributions may be given to Pleasant Hill U.M. Church, 810 Pleasant Hill Rd., Friedens, PA 15541.
