Linda Lee (Shroyer) Deeter

Linda Lee Deeter, 76, Fairhope, died June 11, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Born April 26, 1947 in Frostburg, MD, daughter of Robert L. and Evelyn G. (Aldridge) Shroyer. Preceded in death by parents and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Dwight; sons Bryan (Stacey) Deeter and Brad (Bridget) Deeter; grandchildren: Austin Simpson, Joshua Deeter and special friend Monica, and Brody Deeter; sister Sue King; brothers Robert Jr. (Lorraine) Shroyer and Bruce (Linda) Shroyer; sisters-in-law Diane (Walt) Visinsky, Nancy Deeter, Maxine Kerns, and Barbara Tannehill; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Overlea High School in Baltimore, MD. She retired from the Area Agency on Aging and worked at Fleetwood prior to that. Member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church for 55+ years where she was a member of the Mt. Olive Women’s group. She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 1836 Dividing Ridge Rd., Fairhope, PA 15538. Vicar Penny Koontz officiating. Private inurnment at the church cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be given to Mt.
