Linda Lee (Lauer) Miller

Linda Lee Miller, 69, Shanksville, died Jan. 21, 2020 at home. Born Apr. 3, 1950 in Somerset, daughter of John and Marguerite (Miller) Lauer. Preceded in death by parents, sisters: Patricia Lauer and Joyce Spangler, and brothers: Robert and John Lauer. Survived by her husband of 50 years Edward L. Miller Jr.; children: Brian married to the former Laura Brant, and Jodi married to Jerry Miller Jr., all of Berlin; grandchildren Tory, Matthew, Mikayla, and Megan Miller; sisters: Shirley Jean Ohler and Bonnie Younkin; and sister-in-law Carolyn Lauer. She was a 1968 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, and a former sales clerk at various stores. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday at Shanksville United Methodist Church. Rev. Heidi Helsel officiating. Interment Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
