Lois D. Krause

Lois D. Krause, 96, of Berlin, died March 1, 2025 at home. Born Jan. 5, 1929 in Berlin, daughter of Harry and Mary (Bowman) Dickey. Preceded in death by parents, husband Harold Krause, son Harold Krause Jr., daughter-in-law Judy Krause, grandson Eric Krause, great grandson Connor Krause, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and grandson-in-law Michael Friedline. Survived by daughter Mary (Larry) Graves; grandchildren: Jason (Patty) Krause, Mitzi Krause, Melissa Friedline, Michael (Sara) Graves, and Vanessa (Jeremy) Johnston; granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Christner; and great grandchildren: Alexandria (Taku) Takahashi, Jasmine, Tyler, Tanner (fiancée Haley Lucas), and Collin Krause, Owen and Samuel Graves, and Sebastian Borkowsky. She was a 1946 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, where she was class Valedictorian. Lois retired from Mayfair Creamery. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, and Pius Spring Woman’s Club. She enjoyed bird and wildlife watching, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. David Creamer officiating.
