Mae Viola (Martz) Diehl

Mae Viola Diehl, 87, of Fairhope, died February 18, 2021 at home. Born March 18, 1933 in Northampton Twp., daughter of Herman E. and Martha V. (Leister) Martz. Preceded in death by parents, step father Carl E. Dickey, husband Glenn E., brothers: Herman G. and Karl E. Martz, and nephew Randy Martz. Survived by children: Deborah Werner and Martin (Emaline) Diehl; grandchildren: Barry (Jeff) Werner Jr., and Cary Werner; brother Phillip R. (Cil) Martz; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. She worked as a waitress for many years. Mae also worked at Snyder of Berlin and was a rural mail carrier. Member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Fairhope, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a friend to all, and took care of many of her friends and family. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor Duane Riddle officiating. Inurnment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Fairhope.
