Mae Evelyn (Wingard) Krieger

Mae Evelyn Krieger, 89, Stoystown, died May 16, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born July 14, 1935 in Stoystown, daughter of Lewis and Myrtle (Dryburg) Wingard. Preceded in death by parents, husband William, sisters Dora Vanderbilt and Ella Henry, and brother Earl Wingard. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Forbes High School and was the former manager of Howard Johnsons restaurant and secretary of Krieger Trucking. Member of Mostoller Global Methodist Church. Mae was quick-witted, loved reading and gambling, and had a fierce love for the people around her.
