Margaret Eileen “Margie” Joswick, 94, formerly of Stoystown and Blough, died July 26, 2024 at The Patriot. Born October 3, 1929 in South Fayette, daughter of Everett and Pearl (Ringler) Brink. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 63 years Harvey Vincent Joswick, son Donald Vincent Joswick, sister Ellen Miller, brother James Brink, and granddaughter Morgan Sterling. Survived by children: Robert Vincent Joswick, Mechanicsburg, Trudy Lynne married to John Deaner, Stoystown, and Stephen Vincent Joswick married to the former Bonnie Bennington, Falling Waters, WV; grandchildren: Heather (Brad) Manges, Ryan (Lauren) Joswick, Sarah (Anthony) Leer, David (Carmen) Joswick, Alisha Sabala, Samuel Speigle (Renee), Ian (Haleigh) Joswick, Jonathan and Jeremy (Mary) Deaner, and Tyler Berkebile; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister Beverly Holder; and several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Stoystown High School and a former seamstress. Member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Stoystown. Former member of Stoystown American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. The family would like to thank the staff at The Patriot for all their care. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Sharon Fox officiating.
