Marlene E. (Clay) Conn

Marlene E. Conn, 80, of Somerset, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 29, 2022. Born March 12, 1942 in Somerset and raised in New Centerville, daughter of Harry and Marian (Rayman) Clay. Preceded in death by parents and daughter-in-law Lori Conn. Survived by her husband of 60 years Paul Conn; children: Bradley (Carrie) Conn, Brian (Tracy) Conn, Barry Conn, and Deneen (James) Baer; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister MaryLou Stutzman; and brother Richard (Shirley) Clay. She was a graduate of Rockwood Area High School and a homemaker. Member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren, where she was a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, and held other positions in the church. The family would like to thank the staff of The Patriot for their kindness and care they gave. Family will receive friends from 10 am until a service at 11 a.m. Friday at Beachdale Church of the Brethren. Interment Union Cemetery, New Centerville. Pastor Tammy Horner officiating.
