Martha Elaine (Speicher) Trevarrow

Martha Elaine Trevarrow, 87, of Hooversville, went to be with the Lord August 12, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, surrounded by family and friends. Born June 4, 1938 in Star City, WV, daughter of John and Hazel (Hassenpflug) Speicher.

Preceded in death by parents, husband Carl E., eldest son Carl A., sisters: Opal and Daisie, brothers: John and Walter, and her very special friend Colleen Parlock.

Survived by children: Harry, Earl W., Elaine (James) Karashowsky, Margaret (Dave) Swintosky, Sally, Michelle (Thomas) Morris, David (Raquel), and Michael (Tricia); grandchildren: Terrie (Dave) Wright, Christopher (Carey), Anthony (Carrie), Daniel, Richard, Sean, Ryan, Alexis, Maxwell, Bailey, and Madison; great grandchildren: Taylor, Gavin, Garrett, Austin, Emma, Logan, Kane, and Cooper; and sister Leona Eichelberger.

Our mother, Martha, was one of the strongest, most loving, kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her for 87 years as the head of our family. So many others were also blessed by her kindness as she always did everything she could to help others.

In 1958 she married Carl, together they had 9 children. Martha was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. She was a member of Hooversville Church of the Brethren.
