Marvin Lon Lohr

Marvin Lon Lohr, 77, Hooversville, died Dec. 5, 2024 at home. Born April 28, 1947 in Johnstown, son of Harrison “Jerry” and Betty (Lohr) Lohr. Preceded in death by parents and infant sister Paula. Survived by his daughters: Lisa Hoyman and husband Richard, Gina Lohr and husband Zeyad, and Jodi Lohr; grandchildren: Cody (Dez McNett) Hoyman, Tyler (Corrina) Hoyman, and Jada Lohr; great granddaughter Paislee Hoyman; brother Scott Lohr; and sister Marcia Lohr. He was a graduate of Shade High School and a Vietnam War Army Veteran. Lon was a retired Diesel Mechanic. Life member and past Commander of the Stoystown American Legion Post 257, and a life member of Hooversville V.F.W. Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Military Honors by the Somerset Co.
