Mary Frances "Blondie" (Albright) Cook

Mary Frances “Blondie” Cook, 97, Fairhope, died July 11, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born February 19, 1928 in Meyersdale, daughter of Samuel and Mary (Lindeman) Albright. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 54 years Melvin C, twin brother Freeman Albright, brother Arthur Albright, and infant brothers Francis Elwood and John Homer Albright. Survived by her children: Clifford and wife Cindy and Kathleen Riley and husband John; granddaughter Ann-Marie Cook and wife Michele; special family member Adam Riggleman, her “exchange granddaughter” Ingbritt (Claus) Persson and their children Elin and Elvin; “sister-in-law” Mary Lou Raley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. She was a 1946 graduate of Salisbury High School. Member of Mt. Olivet Country Church, where she was in the Ladies’ Aid Society and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed reading, making cards for people, spending time with her dog, Abby, gardening, and caring for her lawn. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Country Church, 178 Cook Rd., Fairhope, PA 15538. Rev. David Klink officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Fairhope. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Olivet Country Church.
