Melanie Sue Ryman

Melanie Sue Ryman, 53, of Listie, died March 4, 2023, surrounded by her family at UPMC Somerset. Born Sept. 9, 1969 in Somerset, daughter of Earl “Jim” and Linda Sue (Younkin) Ohler. Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law Michael Ryman. Survived by her husband of 38 years Eric Ryman; children: Derick (Jessica) Ryman, Staci (Jesse) Steele, and Nikki Ryman and boyfriend Dan Popernack; grandchildren: Taryn Steele, Kamryn Pepper, and Farrah and Huxley Ryman; beloved dog Mooki; brother Brian (Cathy) Ohler; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Melanie attended Somerset High School, and was a graduate of Cambria Rowe Business College and L.P.N. School. She was a former employee of Meadow View Nursing Center, where she was loved dearly. She enjoyed camping, time with her grandchildren, riding motorcycle, traveling, and spending time with her aunt Bonnie and cousin Tammy.
