Michael J. Kohan, 70, of Somerset, died Aug. 31, 2024 at UPMC Altoona. Born Oct. 24, 1953 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Andrew and Barbara (Powlosky) Kohan. Survived by wife the former Sandra Clark; daughters: Paula Nixon, Kelly Glessner, JoAnna Houpt, and Julie Bowman; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Patricia Cassidy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1971 graduate of Forbes High School and U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. Retired truck driver for Spinaker Trucking. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. He enjoyed watching westerns, casino trips, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. There will be no viewing or service at Michael’s request.
