Miriam Hilda “Mim” Horner, 93, formerly of Johnstown and Stoystown, died Oct. 16, 2022 at the home of her daughter Linda. Born Jan. 29, 1929 in Friedens, daughter of Reno and Martha (Eschrich) Mostoller. Preceded in death by parents; husband Herbert; brothers: Herman, Dwight, Kenneth, Donald “Chuck”, Elmer, and Clyde Mostoller; sisters: Catherine Snyder and Mary Lou Fullerton; and daughter-in-law Karen Horner. Survived by sons: Larry and Richard Horner; daughters: Linda married to Paul Koper, Roxane Horner, and Kathy married to Daniel Barnhart; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and sister Evelyn Kimble. She was a graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. Member of the former Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Johnstown. Former member of the Stoystown Farm Women. She enjoyed cooking, baking, cleaning, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Friedens Lutheran Church, where there will be additional viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev.
