N. Ray Ferrell

N. Ray Ferrell, 75, Hooversville, died Feb. 8, 2023 at home. Born April 28, 1947 in Quincy, IL, son of Lewis and Elma (Louderback) Ferrell. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 44 years the former Linda Johnson, sister Leona Birr, brothers-in-law Jerry and Jack Johnson, and sisters-in-law Janet, Dixie, and Florence Johnson. Survived by sister-in-law Dolores Johnson; nephew Clif Johnson; and niece Pam (Jesse) Shroyer. He was a Vietnam Marine Corps veteran. He was a retired Marine Corps Master Sergeant. He was the Quartermaster and former Commander of the Hooversville VFW. Member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville and the Stoystown American Legion. No viewing or service at this time. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 11th at 2 p.m. at the Hooversville VFW.
