Norma F. (Fratus) Weigle

Norma F. Weigle, 95, of Somerset formerly of Wilbur, died March 9, 2019 at The Heritage at Siemon’s. Born Sept. 3, 1923 in Providence, RI, daughter of John Fratus and Lucille (Silva) Fratus-Moreau. Preceded in death by parents, husband William, step-father Arthur Moreau, son Robert, and daughter Beverly Certeza. Survived by children: William A. married to the former Jody Pizer, Somerset, Kathleen, Lexington, KY, Nancy married to Lawrence LaFlower, Valparaiso, IN, Donald married to the former Brenda Miller, Hermitage, Mary, Stoystown, John married to the former Tammy Berkebile, Friedens, and Sandra married to Timothy Younkin, Lawton, OK; son-in-law Paul Certeza; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was formerly employed by the U.S. Government at the Pentagon. Former Girl Scout Leader, and former member of Shade High School Band Parents and PTA. She loved watching NASCAR and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
