Patricia A. Hoffman, 86, Berlin, died November 1, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Born November 16, 1936 in Macdonaldton, daughter of Lee and Virginia (Flickinger) McKenzie. Preceded in death by parents, husband George, brothers Lee, Robert, William, Aaron, Donald, Glenn, and Larry McKenzie, and son-in-law Larry Engbert. Survived by children: Rick Hoffman and fiancée Marlene Newlon, Cathi (Bill) Berkey, Nancy Engbert, Susan (Jesse) Speicher, Christine (Dennis) Pritts, Connie (Doug) Simmons, and Julie Collins and fiance Eugene Lepley, Jr.; 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; brother Richard (Georgene) McKenzie; sisters: Judi (Tom) Van Horn and Linda (Sam) Fochtman; sisters-in-law Ina McKenzie, Veronica McKenzie, and Carol Hoffman; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1955 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Active member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church and Hillcrest Grange. She enjoyed Bingo, puzzles, board and card games, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a Vigil Service will be held at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Macdonaldton.
