Patricia Elizabeth (Davidson) Sheriff

Patricia Elizabeth Davidson Sheriff, 52, of Shanksville, died peacefully at home on May 16, 2023. Trisha was born on September 21, 1970 in Fort Pierce, Florida and is the daughter of Floyd Lindel Davidson and Robin Elizabeth (Castle) Davidson of Penrose, NC. She is survived by her parents, her two daughters, Rebecca Sheriff of Buena Vista, CO and Veronica Sheriff of Leechburg; her husband of 33 years Ronald C. Sheriff II; her sister Stephannie (Davidson) Foster, brother-in-law Eric Foster, and their four children of Friedens; and her brother Joshua Davidson, sister-in-law Jessica (Charlton) Davidson, and their son of Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ronald and Mary Ann (Ahlberg) Castle, and paternal grandparents Floyd Wilburn Davidson Jr. and Jimmie (O’Barr) Davidson.  Trisha grew up in North Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, and Okinawa, Japan. She graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa in 1988. Upon graduation and marriage Trisha returned to the States where she made her home in Pennsylvania, Wyoming, and South Dakota. She loved to travel, be by the sea, and reading. She was a committed and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. Say not in grief “she is no more,” but live in thankfulness that she was. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jager and Friends Dog Park in Somerset.
